Activities Assistant
Job Summary
Meadowview Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team at our state-of-the-art facility in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a vital member of our Activities Department, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of our residents by planning and implementing engaging activities, fostering social connections, and promoting overall well-being. Activities Assistant Responsibilities
Assist in planning and implementing a diverse range of activities, such as exercise classes, arts and crafts, and social events, designed to meet the needs and interests of our residents
Collaborate with the Activities Director to develop and implement activity programs that promote cognitive, physical, and emotional well-being
Engage with residents through one-on-one interactions, small group activities, and large-scale events, encouraging socialization, participation, and a sense of community
Assist with designing and implementing special events, such as holiday celebrations and cultural festivals, to enhance the overall living experience
Maintain accurate records of resident participation, activity schedules, and program evaluations
Activities Assistant Requirements
Prior experience as activities assistant preferred
