Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our growing team in Fredericksburg, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory therapy and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:

- Perform respiratory therapy procedures such as oxygen therapy, chest physiotherapy, and aerosol therapy

- Administer medications as prescribed by physicians

- Monitor and record patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and functioning

- Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures

- Stay current on industry developments and best practices in respiratory therapy

Qualifications:

- Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a valid state license

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy

- Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy procedures and equipment

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

- BLS and ACLS certifications required
