This role coordinates multiple concurrent, interconnected workstreams that touch patients, families, internal providers, and referring providers, ensuring each is delivered on time and works well together, while partnering closely with clinical, technical, and vendor teams to support pediatric care. Role Overview The Program Manager, Digital Health leads a portfolio of digital health projects from initiation through completion. This role coordinates multiple concurrent, interconnected workstreams that touch patients, families, internal providers, and referring providers, ensuring each is delivered on time and works well together, while partnering closely with clinical, technical, and vendor teams to support pediatric care. Multi-Project Planning & Execution: Define scope, timeline, milestones, and budget for each project within a related set of digital health initiatives, sequencing and coordinating dependencies between them. Cross-Functional Task Coordination: Coordinate work across teams, ensuring consistency and shared standards Patient & Family Engagement: Gather input and feedback from patients and families on tools that affect their care experience and ensure usability and accessibility needs are addressed before rollout. Internal Provider Coordination: Work with internal clinicians and care teams to align digital tools with clinical workflows, gather workflow requirements, and support adoption. Referring Provider Coordination: Partner with referring provider networks and their staff to ensure external-facing tools integrate smoothly with their existing processes. Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with vendors supporting these tools - tracking deliverables, implementation timelines, and issue resolution across each project. Team Collaboration: Lead team collaboration initiatives, manage cross-functional teams, and foster a collaborative, mission-driven environment Stakeholder Communication: Provide consolidated status updates to a wide stakeholder group - patients/families, internal providers, referring providers, and operational leadership - tailoring communication to each audience. Risk & Issue Tracking: Maintain risk and issue logs across all active projects, watching for dependencies or conflicts between them and across stakeholder groups. Go-Live & Adoption Support: Coordinate phased training and rollout support for internal staff, referring provider offices, and patients/families as each project reaches deployment. Innovation & Transformation: Drive high-impact initiatives to support digital transformation Education: Bachelor's degree required. Experience: Project management experience in healthcare IT, with experience managing tools or projects that serve both internal and external (patient- or provider-facing) audiences; vendor management experience. Skills: Strong multi-stakeholder coordination across clinical, patient/family, and referring provider groups; task and timeline management (Agile/Waterfall); clear communication tailored to varied audiences; issue tracking; working familiarity with EHR systems and patient-facing platforms; digital and content accessibility Functional Accountabilities Job Duties Lead the end-to-end management of complex programs, including defining program scope, goals, deliverables, resources, and budget. Develop and maintain program roadmaps, timelines, and project plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals. Act as the primary point of contact for program stakeholders, providing regular updates on program status, risks, and mitigations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements, allocate resources, and manage dependencies between projects and initiatives. Implement best practices and methodologies for program management, ensuring consistent and efficient execution across the IS department. Identify potential risks and issues within the program and develop strategies to address and mitigate them. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project/program managers, fostering their growth and development. Monitor and report program metrics and KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Support the evaluation and selection of external vendors, partners, and contractors when necessary. Collaborate with the IS leadership team to align program strategies with the overall IS roadmap and business objectives. The disclosed salary range includes the minimum and maximum rates within which Children's National believes an individual's base pay rate will fall for this position. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the maximum of the pay range. The exact pay rate for this position will be based on a variety of factors in alignment with the Children's National compensation philosophy.
