Nurse Practitioner - Surgery - Trauma (Nights)

A well-known healthcare group is looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join their Trauma and Acute Care Surgery team. This is a full-time night position (7 PM to 7 AM) in a respected hospital that helps many patients with serious injuries. Shift(s) Description 12-hour overnight shifts, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM Job Duties Provide care for trauma and surgery patients during the night. Evaluate patients, order tests, and create treatment plans. Take care of patients who have had emergencies or surgery while they are in the hospital. Assist surgeons with procedures and ongoing care for patients. Work independently but also work with doctors and other healthcare team members. Keep records of all patient care using Epic EMR (an electronic health record system). Follow hospital rules and regulations. Ensure patient safety and quality care. Important Notes No temporary or part-time jobs available. Fresh graduates cannot apply. You need at least two years of experience in trauma surgery or have completed a surgical fellowship. Qualifications Master’s degree in Nursing from an approved Nurse Practitioner program. [REQUIRED] Nurse Practitioner Certification from ANCC or AANPCB. [REQUIRED] A valid license to practice in Colorado. [REQUIRED] Eligible to apply for DEA and Medicare/Medicaid. [REQUIRED] Clean record with no malpractice issues. [REQUIRED] No legal sanctions or exclusions from health departments. [PREFERRED] Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. [REQUIRED] Experience in trauma surgery (2 years preferred) or completion of a surgical fellowship is highly preferred.
