Radiology - Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray)

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Washington Hospital Healthcare System.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: OR experience a must. Proficient in the OR.

Unit Details: General imaging/studies include chest, spine, and extremities. Possible OR coverage. Uses PACS. Equipment includes Philips, GE, Carestream fixed, and Shimadzu portables. Lead tech support available 24/7. Radiologist is in house during the day until 6 pm; at night, studies are sent to external radiology. No IV starts.

Shift & Scheduling: The first half will be day shift and the 2nd half will be evening shift. 8-hour shifts starting at 8, 330, or 11. Every other weekend. Holiday flexibility required. No call.

Floating Requirements: Will float/cover X-ray and CT.

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 reference required from within the last 3 years

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• (R) (Registered Technologist - Radiography)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
