Position Overview University of Texas at Austin, Department of Neuroscience – Postdoctoral Fellow. Start date after January 1, 2027. The laboratory focuses on elucidating mechanisms of Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders, with particular emphasis on endolysosomal biology and membrane trafficking in the brain. Research Focus Utilize super‑resolution microscopy, live‑cell imaging, multi‑omics (spatial transcriptomics, proteomics, etc.), electrophysiology, mouse models, primary neurons, and iPSC‑derived cells to investigate disease mechanisms from the cellular to the system level. Responsibilities Conduct mechanistic studies of Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders using animal models. Perform molecular and cellular biology experiments with primary neurons, iPSCs, and animal models. Apply confocal/live‑cell imaging, biochemical assays, proteomics, and related methods. Guide graduate students and undergraduate researchers (depending on experience). Engage in domestic and international collaborations and develop new research projects.
