Psych Registered Nurse SC West Adult

Job Summary We are looking for a Psych Registered Nurse (SC West Adult) to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in Mission Hospital's adult psychiatric department. The RN will provide individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care and advocate for patients/families/caregivers in collaboration with medical providers and the multidisciplinary care team. Responsibilities Assesses patient condition during admission and each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status. Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical provider(s) and documents administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner. Responds promptly to patient requests, anticipates needs, and resolves them proactively. Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver a holistic patient treatment plan that promotes recovery. Serves as interface between healthcare providers and community support systems to coordinate ongoing care for specialized patient groups. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Registered Nurse licensure (RN) in the relevant state. Bachelor’s degree.
