Pier Sixty-Six invites dedicated, energetic, and polished hospitality enthusiasts eager for growth and stardom to join our team and enjoy highly competitive wages, comprehensive benefits, and a culture that honors and respects you.We currently have an opportunity for a well-rounded and seasoned Housekeeping Public Area Attendant to join our Pier Sixty-Six Resort team!ResponsibilitiesClean floor surfaces in public or employee space using designated chemicals, supplies, and equipment.Empty trash containers, ashtrays, and ash urns in public areasInspect the condition of furniture for tears, rips, and stains and report damages.Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.Anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities.Follow all company and safety and security policies and proceduresEnsure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professionalMaintain confidentiality of proprietary information.Engage with others using clear and professional language.Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance and over 25 pounds with assistance.Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across a work shift.Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality management or related field is a plus.Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.Knowledge of proper chemical handling, requirements and use of laundry equipment is preferred.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks effectively or as a part of a team.Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal.
