Registered Nurse - NICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to newborns in a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Collaborate with neonatal healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive nursing care to neonates in the NICU.
• Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and progress of newborn patients.
• Collaborate with Neonatologists, NNPs, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Administer medications, therapies, and procedures according to physician orders and protocols.
• Educate parents and families on neonatal care, discharge planning, and follow-up requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with neonatal intensive care experience.
• Possess BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications.
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of experience in a Level II NICU or SCN.
• Exhibit strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a 24/7 neonatal care environment.
