With a commitment to excellence and client satisfaction, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Manager to join our dynamic team.As a Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the tax planning, compliance, and consulting services for our high-wealth clients. This is a remote opportunity, with preference for candidates to reside in the Austin area.Responsibilities:Serve as the primary point of contact for high-wealth individuals and businesses.Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and understanding of their unique tax needs.Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize clients' financial positions.Provide guidance on various tax implications related to business transactions and investments.Ensure timely and accurate filing of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and entities.Stay current on tax laws and regulations, advising clients on compliance requirements.Analyze and recommend optimal entity structures for tax efficiency.Work closely with clients engaged in multiple business ventures, providing strategic tax advice.Collaborate with other departments and team members to deliver integrated financial solutions.Provide mentorship and support to junior staff members.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.CPA certification2+ years experience as a Tax Manager in a CPA firm or similar environment.In-depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance.Strong understanding of QuickBooks and AccessStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.Benefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits packageM/D/V – PPO and High deductible options401K after 1-year3% Non-Elective contributionPTO – 5 weeksFlexible remote work
