Horton, Inc. is currently looking for a Investor Relations Manager. The right candidate will report to the Vice President of Investor Relations (VP – IR) and is responsible for assisting the SVP, Head of IR and VP – IR with the execution of the company’s Investor Relations program and communications.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Understand Regulation Fair DisclosureAssist with and complete reference documents and presentations in preparation for the company’s quarterly earnings calls and financial reporting and communicate key findings and trends to the Investor Relations teamManage and refresh the company’s Investor Relations website through communications with third-party vendorRegularly track/log investor interactions, including calls, meetings, conferences, and other engagements, within the Company’s third-party databasePrepare presentations, analyses, and create and maintain spreadsheets/reports in response to investor, analyst, and management requests/needsConduct peer analysis by researching other public homebuilders and monitoring SEC filings and earnings calls to alert the rest of the Investor Relations team of any significant announcements, results or changesParticipate in investor/analyst callsAssist with and execute the collection, analysis, and presentation of feedback of investors’ perceptions and opinions, brokerage security analysts’ positions and summaries, relative stock price movements, and periodic ownership analysisAssist with the selection, education, tasking and supervision of outside consultants and service providers for IRManage calendar and appointments, including meetings, conference calls and conference room arrangementsCoordinate conference registrations and attend/participate in select conferencesDevelop and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, including accounting, finance, SEC counsel and senior managementComplete and submit surveys, such as local business journal requestsConduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the companyAbility to travel overnightQualificationsEducation and/or ExperienceBachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Business or a related fieldTwo to five years of related experienceExercise discretion when working with confidential information concerning the company, executive management and employeesAbility to be an efficient and resourceful team player and individual contributorStrong interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applicationsProficiency with MS Office and emailAbility to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
