Work Environment

This position is fully remote, enabling our clinicians to provide flexible support to clients from the comfort of their own homes while maintaining work-life balance. As an LICSW at Psych Sonic Behavioral Health, you will benefit from a collaborative virtual environment that encourages professional development and promotes shared learning. Regular supervision and team meetings will be conducted via secure video conferencing platforms to discuss client progress, share insights, and enhance therapeutic techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify client needs, presenting issues, and potential mental health diagnoses, utilizing standardized assessment tools.
• Develop customized treatment plans that detail specific therapeutic goals, interventions, and anticipated outcomes tailored to each individual or family.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other modalities relevant to client needs.
• Maintain precise and thorough clinical documentation in adherence to HIPAA regulations and Washington state laws, ensuring clarity and confidentiality.
• Provide culturally competent care, respecting and honoring the diverse identities of clients while effectively addressing systemic barriers to care.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, training sessions, and supervision that bolster your clinical skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with external service providers and community resources, developing a robust support network for clients in their recovery journey.
• Assist clients in navigating complex healthcare systems and advocate for their needs within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of our services is on individuals and families experiencing difficulties related to mental health, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, substance use issues, and relationship challenges. By engaging with clients in a sensitive and individualized manner, we strive to empower them to take charge of their mental wellness, ultimately leading to better health outcomes and enhanced quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Active Washington State Licensure as an Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), necessary for practicing independently.
• A commitment to providing empathetic and culturally sensitive care, demonstrating an understanding of diverse backgrounds and experiences.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of professional clinical social work experience with individuals and families in a therapeutic setting.
• Experience in addiction recovery and detox environments is highly desirable, given the nature of our facility.
• Demonstrated ability to develop rapport and trust quickly with clients from varied backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer competitive compensation ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
