With nearly 150 offices nationwide and roughly 1.5 million clients, the firm holds a leading position in the 401(k) managed account space. This Indirect Procurement Director role sits within the centralized Procurement function inside FP&A and reports to the Senior Director of Procurement.ScheduleHybrid, mostly remote.Compensation$165,000 to $175,000 base, commensurate with experience.What You’ll DoIn this individual contributor role, you will own Indirect Procurement RFP initiatives from initiation through competitive bid negotiation, redlining, and contract execution. You will partner with stakeholders across HR, IT, Financial Market Data, Marketing, Operations, Wealth Planning, and Trading to translate business needs into sourcing strategies, and will work closely with Legal to negotiate directly with vendor counsel and sales counterparts, particularly on software, SaaS, and hosting agreements.You will build flexible, measurable fee models that support cost containment, including price escalation caps and tiered pricing structures, and will use analytics to track spend, supplier performance (SLAs), and realized savings, presenting findings to senior leadership. You will lead efforts to consolidate and streamline the supplier base, ensure procurement operations align with financial plans and corporate policy, and audit category-specific inventories with business owners to confirm requirements, licensing, and cost controls. You will also collaborate with Accounts Payable to ensure purchase orders and contracts are properly matched with invoices for accurate, timely payment.Required Qualifications10+ years of procurement experience in indirect sourcing at an established organizationExtensive technology procurement experience, ideally within a technology-dependent businessExpert-level command of contract, legal, and commercial terms, with hands-on experience redlining and negotiating software, SaaS, and hosting agreementsProficiency with P2P systems (for example, Oracle NetSuite) and intermediate skills in Excel and PowerPointBachelor’s degreePreferred QualificationsMaster’s degreeProcurement certification (CPM, CTPE, CPP, SPSM, or CIPS)Compensation and Benefits$165,000 to $175,000 base salaryMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) Paid time off To apply, please submit your resume for consideration.
