PLOW is an elevated "Fine Farm to Table" restaurant located not in Chicago, not in Milwaukee, not in Madison, but in the charming village of Cambridge, 16 miles southeast of Madison and 10 minutes from Ft. Atkinson. Cambridge has a population of 1650 residents but also has the draw of Lake Ripley, CamRock trails, Rowe Pottery, Dancing Goat Distillery, Cambridge winery, Cambridge Inn and a host of dedicated small businesses.  Plow Restaurant is in a former Grist Mill from the mid 1800s and in the heart of the village's downtown district. People often come to Cambridge and enjoy The PLOW as a destination from as far away as Rockford, Chicago, Milwaukee and Madison drive to Cambridge for dinner.

With recent renovations 2026  Plow has expanded the footprint and completed a renovation of back of the house prep areas and front of the house dining areas to expand into events, catering and expanded hours. The ideal candidate would be ready to see this opportunity as part time and possibly full time, and grow with us.

PLOW features a wood fired oven, smoker, and a fusion of styles while committed to local and seasonal foods. full bar with craft cocktails, and indoor and patio seating as well.

The food is incredible. Much is locally sourced. Menu items include a base of wood fired Tacos, Pizza, vegetarian lasagna, and Plow originals. rotating spells to follow the seasons, as well as the Plow favorites in a one of a kind 1850's Grist Mill.

Some of the rotating and unique menu items such as New York Strip, Mahi Mahi fish fry, wood fired Neapolitan pizza, smoked prime rib in our CookShack FEC500 outdoor smoker, cumulate in a unique cooking experience.

Details:

• Our owner/ Chef will assist in preparing our amazing entrees. If you've done this type of role before, the normal responsibilities apply. You'll be working in a unique opportunity with Chef /Owner Charles Fiesel and his farm to table experience in all aspects of the culinary experience- from a working farm to creation of seasonal dishes.
• Baking, and dessert is a plus.
• Pizza/ lasagna, and much more prepared in a 900 degree wood fired oven.
• Hours are currently  4-9 pm, Wednesday -Saturday & Saturday and Sunday Brunch from 11-2 Brunch. We are currently in the Soft opening and training in August with hard opening scheduled for September

We're working to expand wedding catering and special events in the near future. 

We are a niche "Fine Farm to Table experience y of the herbs and produce directly from our farm.
