Collateral Underwriter

Reviewing and analyzing collateral for loans, the full-time Collateral Underwriter will assess appraisal reports and collateral risk while ensuring compliance with guidelines in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Review, analyze, and render decisions on appraisal report escalations according to company and investor guidelines Complete comprehensive collateral reviews while meeting established service-level expectations Manage a pipeline of collateral files and communicate issues with Appraisers, Processors, Customers, and Account Executives/Loan Originators Required qualifications 3+ years of experience in Collateral Underwriting or Valuation Review and/or a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field Working knowledge of investor underwriting guidelines and policies Strong prioritization and time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Demonstrated commitment to exceptional customer service Virtual Vocations Inc
