Dental Hygienist Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential Full Time opportunity for a Registered Dental Hygienist at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland. Practice Details Full-time employment Monday through Friday Paid time off Full benefits Job Requirements The hygienist will have the following requirements: Minimum of twelve (12) months of specialized full‑time clinical experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist within the preceding thirty‑six (36) months following graduation. Highly proficient in oral prophylaxis; preliminary periodontal examinations (including diagnostic tests and radiographs); oral health education; preparing treatment plans for plaque control; applying topical fluorides and desensitizing agents; and planning, conducting, and evaluating preventive dental health programs. Hold a current, unrestricted license to practice as a dental hygienist in any one of the fifty states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Islands. Must possess a current certification in dental radiography. Must possess documented proof of advanced training and certification to administer local anesthesia in accordance with the Local Anesthesia Administration by Dental Hygienists.
