(USA) Freight Flow Associate-1

Position Summary Responsible for executing operations in Walmart and Sam’s Club facilities, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards. Employs the Open Door Policy to address customer and employee concerns, maintains inventory flow, and supports cleanliness, merchandising, and safety in the club. Operates forklifts and pallet jacks per company guidelines to pick, stow, rotate, and prepare merchandise for sale, and ensures accurate stock records through inventory tools. Responsibilities Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely, following current forklift certification and company safety guidelines. Receive, ship, and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers throughout the facility. Maintain inventory flow, monitor and correct shelf capacities, and complete required paperwork, logs, and documentation for inventory processes. Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying member needs, and offering guidance and support for self‑service technology and purchasing decisions. Perform safety sweeps and spot hazardous material or unsafe situations, report incidents to management, and follow steel‑standard guidelines. Maintain sales floor presentation, stock items, rotate merchandise, remove damaged or outdated goods, and set up displays for promotional and seasonal items. Assist in filling club pick‑up orders and staging items, supporting Merchandising Associates to stage orders efficiently. Handle inventory moves, manage displays safely, track goods, maintain in‑stock levels, and mitigate shrinkage. Identify and address customer needs, engage customers, and verbally assist in technology services. Support a culture of inclusiveness, teamwork, and customer service that aligns with Walmart values and regenerative goals. Use data and resources to prioritize tasks, communicate progress, recommend improvements, adapt to change, and learn from feedback. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Minimum Qualifications 90 days of prior experience with a forklift certification. Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications Customer service experience. Retail experience. Experience supervising a team.
