Inpatient Pharmacy Technician 3

Role: A Pharmacy Technician III supporting inpatient pharmacy operations, providing medication preparation, distribution, and compounding services. Responsibilities: Assist in preparing medication orders, including sterile and non-sterile compounding. Support inventory management, storage, and ordering activities. Ensure quality assurance standards and maintain regulatory compliance. Operate and maintain electronic and automated systems, including documentation and record-keeping. Train staff, handle complex tasks, and serve as a departmental resource for resolving issues. Contribute to workflow improvements and process enhancements within the pharmacy. Qualifications & Skills: High School Diploma or GED. 2-5 years of experience as a pharmacy technician; 5-10 years preferred. State Board Pharmacy Registration and Pharmacy Tech Certification required. Proficiency in sterile/non-sterile compounding, inventory control, and electronic systems. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, work independently, and support team efforts.
