Inventory Technician I: Forklift, QC & Data Entry

Job Title: Inventory Associate I Location: Orlando, FL Type: Contract / On-Site Schedule: D-shift, Monday through Friday 12 HRS 6PM-6:30 AM Pay Rate starts at $28 per hour - Salary Responsibilities Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating, monitoring, and escalating roadblocks that could cause downstream defects. Operate heavy equipment including PIT equipment/forklifts, electronic pallet jacks, reach-trucks, and turret-trucks, ensuring safety and maintenance procedures are followed. Receive shipments by unloading deliveries from carriers and inspecting packages for compliance with SOP standards. Perform quality control checks on incoming parts, reviewing requirements and processing accordingly. Document receipts and work orders using appropriate tools, ensuring accurate data entry and record-keeping. Navigate inventory management systems to input data, read information, and manage inventory modules effectively. Identify and apply proper packaging methods for parts, ensuring secure storage and workflow integrity. Sort, stage, and move packages or storage containers, securing items to prevent loss during operations. Label and mark parts with identifiers as outlined in SOPs for proper tracking and analysis. Assign storage locations and perform audits to ensure proper storage practices are followed, maintaining inventory accuracy. Requirements Experience in fulfillment operations, including inventory counting, receiving, and packing. Ability to derive inventory requirements from Bills of Material experience. Experience with receiving, put-away, picking/kitting, or shipping inventory. Willingness to drive a forklift with training. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Fundamental knowledge of operating heavy equipment such as PIT equipment, forklifts, reach-trucks, and turret-trucks. Strong attention to detail for inspecting shipments and performing quality control checks. Proficiency in data entry and navigating inventory management tools. Ability to identify appropriate packaging and ensure proper labeling and storage of parts. Good judgment and adherence to SOPs for storage and inventory audits.
