Opportunity:

RN - Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse

Job Details:

• Work in a Level 2E NICU with 10 bays and 1 isolation room
• Care for neonatal patients 32 weeks gestation and up
• Patient ratios of 1:1-3 based on acuity for both day and night shifts
• Attend and participate in baby stabilization for neonates 32 weeks and up
• Stabilize and prepare transport for neonates under 32 weeks gestation
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred; first-time travelers considered upon review
• Required certifications: BLS and NRP
• Charting and equipment experience required: EPIC, Alaris, Pyxis, and Bridge access for donor milk and breast milk administration
• Unit support includes charge nurse (may take patient assignment), receptionist available 24/7 on MBU, pediatric hospitalist available 24/7, neonatologist rounds daily, on-call OB 24/7, and phlebotomy assistance for peripheral blood draws
• Hospital-provided scrubs

• Orientation includes at least one shift on unit to learn workflow

This facility is a 176-bed hospital and a designated Level 2 Trauma Center with a Level 2E NICU. The facility holds Magnet Designation and serves as a Primary Stroke Center, reflecting its commitment to excellence in patient care and nursing practice.
