Travel RN – Medical/Surgical (Rehabilitation)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of rehabilitation care plans established by an interdisciplinary team
• Perform lab draws, administer IV antibiotics and IV medications, and conduct blood administration as needed
• Complete thorough head-to-toe assessments and monitor telemetry patients
• Perform wound vac dressing changes and administer inhalers and breathing treatments
• Operate patient lifts and unit equipment including iSTAT and glucometer
• Educate patients and family members on care plans and rehabilitation programs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital Medical/Surgical experience
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with EMR systems (Meditech experience a plus)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) certification
• Knowledge of Quality Indicator scoring in a post-acute setting
• ACLS certification
• Experience with telemetry patients and ability to pass Airstrip telemetry competency
