About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: GI Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required License: California License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS required Must-Have: Experience with administering and monitoring Conscious Sedation. First-timers accepted. No weekend requirements; schedule is Monday through Friday. On-call requirement: Yes. Candidates may need to float between like units. Guaranteed hours: Facility can call off once per two-week pay period. Must include requested time off at the time of application. Candidates must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Description: This position requires experience with adult and geriatric patient populations. Travelers must be willing to float between facilities as needed. References covering one year of experience within the last three years are required. Qualified candidates should possess skills in inpatient care, particularly in pre/post-procedure settings. Additional interdisciplinary support is provided by various services. Modules are required to be completed before starting and on an annual basis. All communication devices needed for the role will be provided by the facility. Travelers should look into housing options in the area as availability may be limited.
