Senior Marketing Strategist

Develop and execute school/college marketing and communications plans aligned with university marketing and strategic initiatives Apply marketing trends, research, and technologies in support of school/college marketing and communication plans Partner with marketing, creative, web, and content teams to execute strategic marketing and communications priorities Oversee, implement, and manage social media strategy for school/college channels Develop plans and strategies adaptable by other marketing strategists Implement SEO best practices across school/college web pages Collaborate with the university web strategy team and school/college subject matter experts to keep content current and accurate Track key performance indicators and report on marketing effectiveness with data-based recommendations Create and deliver content on Creighton.edu through SEO and UX enhancements Serve as a brand ambassador within the school/college Learn and articulate the value of a Creighton education and available programs, degrees, and services Write creative content aligned with the strategic vision, brand voice, and key messages Follow and optimize established content workflow processes Establish and maintain project schedules and meet deadlines Develop creative briefs and key messages Coordinate internal and external marketing and communications, branding, and web strategy initiatives Develop and manage digital content for school/college web pages and social presence Collaborate with other marketing strategists to align marketing and communications strategies Requirements Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications or related field is required 5–7 years of experience Proven ability to develop a comprehensive marketing plan and implement best-in-class brand marketing and communication activities Ability to use data to drive strategy and monitor and report on results Knowledge and experience with brand marketing and an understanding of the overall digital media landscape Ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts and leaders across campus Demonstrated organizational skills Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Strong business acumen Interpersonal skills Ability to be a persuasive presenter Ability to be an effective developer and leader of integrated marketing and communications efforts Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in developing and executing comprehensive marketing and communications plans, utilizing data-driven strategies and SEO best practices to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
