Maintenance Lead

Shift: 2nd Shift (3:30 PM - 1:30 AM)

Schedule: Monday-Friday (overtime and weekends may be required)

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead to support and develop a maintenance team while driving equipment reliability in a highly automated manufacturing environment. This role combines hands-on troubleshooting, technical leadership, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support maintenance technicians in troubleshooting complex equipment issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve machine reliability.
• Develop and deliver technical training to strengthen team capabilities.
• Support preventive and predictive maintenance programs for automated equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on equipment upgrades, modifications, and reliability improvements.
• Analyze equipment performance data to improve uptime, quality, and productivity.
• Troubleshoot and support PLC, controls, robotics, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Lead special projects involving equipment improvements, vendor coordination, and process enhancements.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Expertise with hydraulics, servo motors, servo drives, and servo valves.
• PLC troubleshooting experience with Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, and Keyence systems.
• Knowledge of robotics and automated manufacturing equipment.
• High school diploma required.
• Completion of a formal apprenticeship program or at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 5+ years of maintenance experience preferred, with prior leadership or mentoring experience highly desired.

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hopkinsville, KY.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $36.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
