HR Generalist – Dallas/Fort Worth, TX

The HR Generalist supports day‐to‐day human resources operations across the employee lifecycle, including recruiting support, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, HR compliance, and HRIS data management. This role partners closely with managers and employees to ensure consistent HR processes, positive employee experiences, and adherence to company policies and Texas employment regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Employee Relations & HR Support

• Serve as a primary HR contact for employees and managers across DFW locations.
• Provide guidance on policies, procedures, performance expectations, and workplace concerns.
• Support investigations, documentation, corrective actions, and follow‐up as needed.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Recruiting & Onboarding

• Assist with job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer preparation.
• Facilitate new‐hire onboarding, including I‐9 verification, E‐Verify submissions, background checks, and new‐hire paperwork.
• Coordinate orientation schedules and ensure smooth transition into the organization.

Benefits & Payroll Support

• Support benefits enrollment, eligibility questions, and employee communications.
• Assist employees with medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plan inquiries.
• Partner with payroll to ensure accurate employee data, status changes, and timekeeping compliance.

HRIS & Records Management

• Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS/ATS systems (e.g., ADP, UKG, Dayforce, Workday).
• Process employee changes, terminations, and updates.
• Ensure compliance with federal and Texas employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, and wage/hour regulations.

Compliance & Reporting

• Support audits, reporting, and documentation for OSHA, EEO, I‐9, and other regulatory requirements.
• Assist with policy updates, handbook revisions, and HR process improvements.
• Maintain organized digital and physical HR files.

Training & Development

• Coordinate training sessions, compliance modules, and employee development programs.
• Track completion and maintain training records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of HR experience, ideally in a fast‐paced or multi‐site environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, Texas employment laws, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with HRIS/ATS platforms (ADP, UKG, Dayforce, Workday, etc.).
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem‐solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred for DFW workforce demographics.

Work Environment & Location

• Based in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex (DFW).
• May support multiple sites across Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Irving, and surrounding areas.
• Hybrid or on‐site schedule depending on company needs.
