Job Title: Laboratory Technician-QC Lab Support

Location: 9021 Bennett Creek Blvd, Frederick, MD 21704 (Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Month Contract

Working Model: Fully onsite

Swing Shifts: 4/10 (4 days x 10 hours/day)
Sunday–Wednesday, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM

Pay Rate: 21.89$/hr. On W2

Job Summary

We are seeking a Lab Technician I to support Quality Control laboratory operations. This role will focus on sample management, processing, documentation, storage, and shipment while working closely with QC, QA, Manufacturing, Material Management, and other cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive incoming samples, verify documentation, and enter sample information into LIMS.
• Support sample receipt, processing, aliquoting, labeling, and storage.
• Coordinate sample transfers to internal and external testing laboratories.
• Manage QC sample shipping activities.
• Maintain and organize sample storage areas, including routine cleaning and restocking.
• Review chain-of-custody forms, processing records, logbooks, and other QC documentation.
• Assist with deviations and investigation activities as needed.
• Participate in daily/weekly team meetings and Lean Lab/Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Follow GMP/cGMP, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other laboratory support duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR
• Associate's degree with 2+ years of QC/biopharma laboratory experience OR
• High school diploma with 3+ years of QC/biopharma laboratory experience.
• Experience working in a QC, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or biopharmaceutical laboratory preferred.
• Ability to work onsite and follow the required Sunday–Wednesday, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a GMP/cGMP or FDA-regulated laboratory.
• Hands-on experience with LIMS.
• Experience with sample management, aliquoting, labeling, storage, tracking, or shipment.
• Strong documentation and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
