Senior Full-Stack AI Engineer

Salary: $65,000 - 80,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for proven experience in full-stack web development, with strong command of JavaScript, React, Node.js/Express, and front-end/back-end integration.
• We need a solid grounding in software engineering fundamentals, including system design, scalability, design patterns, microservices architecture, and RESTful API development.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure to deploy scalable applications is required.
• We value expertise across languages such as Python, Java, C++, C, and VBA, with familiarity with quantum engineering concepts considered highly desirable.
• A strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including MySQL databases, SQL optimization, GitHub, SVN, and Linux environments, is expected.
• We are seeking familiarity with Agile delivery methods such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Experience with development tooling, including Git, GitHub repositories, and CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment, is important.
• The ability to design scalable systems using APIs, microservices patterns, RBAC security practices, and performance tuning techniques is needed.

• We own FOIAger end to end, including product behavior, code, infrastructure, deployments, and our relationship with the attorneys who use it.
• We finish the rebuilt version and bring it to feature parity across the surfaces attorneys rely on, including document Q&A, water-system reports, source finder, PRP scoring, and complaint drafting, then manage the dual-run cutover and retire the old version.
• We own answer quality by ensuring every response includes citations to source pages, and we use a golden-set evaluation as the release gate for changes to retrieval, prompts, or models.
• We manage the cloud estate the product runs on, including infrastructure as code, CI/CD across environments, and on-call coverage.
• We integrate FOIAger into the case platform as a shared services layer, covering shared login, events, and case-data capabilities such as status updates, case lookup, and cross-case aggregation, with a human approval step on every agent-initiated write.
• We serve as the engineering counterpart to attorney users through training, feedback loops, and a written backlog they can review.
• We lead the design and implementation of full-stack applications using JavaScript frameworks like React and Express, with a focus on responsive and user-friendly interfaces.
• We develop and optimize AI models using Python and quantum engineering principles to strengthen system intelligence and automation.
• We architect scalable microservices solutions using RESTful APIs, design patterns, and cloud infrastructure to support high-volume data processing.
• We collaborate in Agile teams to plan, build, test, and release software while following version control and CI/CD best practices.
• We design system architecture for complex applications with an emphasis on scalability, security, and performance across environments including Linux servers.
• We integrate third-party APIs and build custom APIs to enable smooth data exchange between front-end and back-end systems.
• We review code, mentor junior engineers, and foster continuous improvement in our engineering practices.
