Registered Nurse (RN) – MedSurgLocation: Polson, Montana Full-TimeWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our MedSurg Acute Care team in Polson, Montana. As an RN in the MedSurg unit, you will provide professional, evidence-based, and holistic nursing care to patients across the lifespan. You'll ensure care is compassionate, coordinated, and tailored to each individual's physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.Key Responsibilities:Deliver safe, high-quality, evidence-based nursing care in an acute care MedSurg environmentCollaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plansUtilize clinical judgment and critical thinking to address complex patient conditionsMaintain accurate documentation and participate in quality assurance activitiesAdhere to ANA Code of Ethics, state Nurse Practice Act, and organizational policiesEnsure continuity of care through effective shift-to-shift communicationSupport the development of newer staff or students through mentoring and preceptorshipRequired Qualifications:Graduation from an accredited nursing programMontana RN License (active, unencumbered) – upon hireBLS Certification (AHA) – upon hireACLS and PALS Certification (AHA) – within 90 days of hireMinimum of 1 year of prior nursing experiencePreferred Qualifications:National certification in MedSurg or specialty area (e.g., CMSRN, PCCN)
