Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing Physical Therapy services during the Extended School Year (ESY) session. Support and empower K-12 students in a vibrant school environment, working with a small caseload of just seven students across two nearby school sites.

Position Details:

• Contract role for the ESY period, running from July 6th through August 6th
• One day per week, 8:30am to 1:00pm, offering an ideal schedule for work-life balance
• Serve students in grades K-12 across two campuses located just 6 miles apart
• Focused caseload allows for meaningful, individualized therapy

Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Pennsylvania
• Experience with pediatric or school-based PT preferred
• Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and transition effectively between sites
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially working with children and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Deliver assessment and treatment for students requiring physical therapy services, with tailored approaches for multiple grade levels
• Develop and implement IEP goals in coordination with other education professionals and families
• Document progress, maintain compliance with state and district reporting standards
• Travel between two school sites as scheduled
• Create engaging therapy plans to promote mobility, function, and participation within the school setting
