Unit Specifics:

• Number of Beds: CCU 36//Burn Trauma ICU 30
• Patient Ratios: 2:1
• Unit staffing description: Supervisor on every shift, PCT
• Type of equipment: varies
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend
• Floating policy: As needed

Certifications:

• Must have:
• 2+ Years of Hosp. experience
• 2+ Years of specialty experience
• BLS
• ACLS
• Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed:
• Experience with the following:
• MEDITECH EXP. PREFERRED, TNCC, CCRN, TCRN
• Specialty/Unit Certifications Required:
• ACTIVE RN LICENSE – TEMP LICENSE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
• Procedures performed on unit:
• Central line insertions
• Arterial line insertions
• Thoracotomies
• Bedside trachs
• Chest tube insertions

Patient Experience Required:

• Dress Code: Scrub Coloro RN: Royal Blue
• Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy, no artificial nails, gel, next gen, etc.
• Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors. Beards, mustaches and sideburns should be clean and neatly trimmed. Hair must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer when working in the lab.
• Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible. Body art that is not feasible to cover on a daily basis will be addressed individually
• Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears is prohibited. This includes nose rings, tongue rings, etc.
