i9 Sports offers youth sports leagues, camps, and clinics for kids ages 4-14 in today’s most popular sports such as flag football, soccer, basketball, baseball and ... volleyball! With our focus on fun, safety, convenience, and good sportsmanship, i9 Sports is reinventing the youth sports experience for families across the country. It’s the way youth sports should be.
Job Summary
The Instructor/Official is a critical role on any sports field; responsible for enforcing rules while also cultivating a positive culture, acting as an on-court coach, and advocating for the programs. This role has a direct impact on players, coaches, and spectators each and every game day. We are currently hiring for our Fall season (Saturday afternoons/evenings) at the following venue:
- Evergreen Middle School
- Study and enforce i9 Sports rules and safety for all players. Stripes and whistle provided by employee.
- Instruct players during practice using age-appropriate practice plans developed by i9 Sports.
- Keep time and score during the game; manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition.
- Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills (Email, text, verbal, written). Responsiveness is critical.
- Volleyball playing, coaching or officiating experience is a must.
- Enthusiasm, strong work ethic and trustworthiness.
- Situational awareness, attention to detail and critical thinking.
- Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as a team.
- Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check.
- Must have reliable transportation and be dependable. We do not tolerate callouts.
