Estimator - Commercial Construction
The Estimator will report to the Preconstruction Manager and work closely with operations, project management, and executive leadership teams to support the pursuit of new projects.
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for ground-up commercial construction projects
- Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier bids
- Develop conceptual, schematic, and hard bid estimates
- Analyze plans, specifications, and project documents to identify risks and opportunities
- Assist in bid preparation, proposal development, and scope review
- Collaborate with project management teams during project turnover
- Support value engineering efforts to improve project competitiveness and profitability

For the Estimator - Commercial Construction we are seeking:
- 3+ years of estimating experience within commercial construction
- Experience estimating ground-up construction projects
- Understanding of commercial project costs, budgeting, and construction methods
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience working with subcontractors and vendor pricing
- Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of construction management platforms such as Procore is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
