Contracts ManagerDaVita Clinical Research (DCR), a wholly-owned subsidiary of DaVita Inc., is a provider-based specialty clinical research organization that offers a wide spectrum of services for clinical drug research and device development. DCR uses its extensive real-world healthcare expertise to assist in the design, recruitment, and completion of retrospective and prospective studies. In the past 30 years, DCR has helped more than 500 clients with their development projects.The Contracts Manager is primarily responsible for supporting DCR with contract review and administration, reporting directly to Assistant General Counsel – Clinical Research. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work cross-functionally and utilize contract management and leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.Duties & Responsibilities:Preparation, review, and revision of agreements with oversight from Assistant General Counsel; ability to handle less complex agreements with minimal oversightPrimary internal and external contact for contract negotiations and administrationAdminister contracting processes, including maintaining status reports and providing stakeholder updatesAssistance on special projects as neededAttend team meetings, phone conferences, and trainings as neededKnow, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company proceduresPartner with compliance teammates in support of applicable policies and proceduresTraits for Success:Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and follow-through skillsDetail oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize a high volume of competing demandsAbility to work independently, shift focus, adapt to changing priorities, maintain patience in high pressure situations, and take initiative where appropriateAbility to work well with cross-functional groupsInterpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills; ability to interact positively with teammates at all levels across the companyPersonal integrity, judgment, and the ability to make decisions quicklyCommitment to DaVita's Core Values of Services Excellence, Integrity, Team, Continuous Improvement, Accountability, Fulfillment and Fun with ability to demonstrate those positively and proactively to colleagues, patients, teammates, management, physicians, and/or vendors in everyday performance and interactionsQualifications:Bachelor's degreeMinimum of five years professional experienceFour or more years clinical research experience strongly preferred; experience with study budgets a plusAdvanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Word and Outlook requiredWorking knowledge of healthcare regulatory landscape helpful but not requiredProfessional experience using AI tools and experience with contract lifecycle management applications helpful but not requiredLocation: Denver HQ, Nashville, or Minneapolis
