Competitive Pay: $25.09 – $43.56 per hour. Shift differentials will be between $2–$3/hr for 2nd & 3rd shift. Overtime is available. What You'll Be Doing Responsible for ordering and maintaining supplies to support all maintenance functions. Provide basic maintenance support for startup operations such as lights, dust collectors, air filtration systems, etc. Monitor machines or equipment to detect malfunctions and discuss machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machines. Dismantle defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts. Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment; repair and replace design, assemble, and install electronic control systems for production machinery and associated automated equipment—including gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment. Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair machine‑level control systems that utilize programmable logic controllers. Perform preventive maintenance per schedule. Communicate with operators pre‑ and post‑repair. Repair and maintain the physical structure of the facility. Follow lock‑out/tag‑out procedures. Adhere to all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Requirements Education: Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school; or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experienced forklift driver preferred. Language Skills: Ability to read, understand, and comprehend documents; ability to speak effectively and interact with team members, engineers, and leadership. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide; ability to use basic gauges and measuring devices. Reasoning Ability: Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations; ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, and diagram form. Reliable, willing to work overtime as needed, and committed to working at the Chittenango, NY facility. Working Conditions Frequently work near moving mechanical parts. Physical effort includes lifting, pulling, reaching, manipulating, carrying, pushing, or shoveling. Manufacturing requires repetitive motion of hands, wrists, and arms.
