Cardiac Cath Lab RN in Martins Ferry, OH

An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a Cath Lab setting for a 13-week assignment. In this role, you will play a vital part in the delivery of specialized cardiovascular procedures, collaborating closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.


Schedule:

• 5x8 hour day shifts.
• Call schedule: Monday through Friday 2:30 PM-6:00 AM, Saturday and Sunday 6:00 AM-6:00 AM.
• Expected call coverage includes two weekdays per week and three weekends within a six-week period.

Qualifications:

• Current and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in Ohio (OH).
• Active BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
• Prior experience in a Cath Lab environment is required.
• Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic setting with changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures, monitor vital signs, and provide post-procedure care.
• Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Ensure the maintenance and proper use of Cath Lab equipment.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations as part of the on-call rotation.
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately and thoroughly.
• Provide compassionate support and education to patients and their families throughout the treatment process.
