Meibel Account Executive Tysons, VA · Tenafly, NJ · Remote · Full time REMOTE/HYBRID in the NYC or Tysons, VA areas. At Meibel, we're redefining how AI is deployed in production, with explainability, accountability, and trust built in from day one. We're looking for an Account Executive who owns the full sales cycle, from pipeline generation through close. You'll work directly with technical leaders (VPs of Engineering, CTOs, Heads of AI) to help them solve the hardest problem in production AI: making it reliable, measurable, and trustworthy at scale. This is a mid‑market role where deals are won through technical credibility, sharp discovery, and genuine partnership with buyers navigating complex build‑vs‑buy decisions. About Meibel Meibel is the platform to build, run & scale generative AI with confidence. Description What You'll Do Own full cycle sales from pipeline generation, qualification, discovery, demo coordination, negotiation, and close for mid-market accounts Experience working with BDR team to accelerate account‑based pipeline generation. Run discovery conversations that uncover real pain: retrieval that breaks in production, outputs that can't be traced, teams stuck maintaining brittle DIY stacks Partner with our Solutions Architect to design and deliver technical proof‑of‑concepts that demonstrate measurable value Navigate multi‑stakeholder buying processes across engineering, product, and executive leadership Build territory and account plans that reflect where AI adoption is accelerating and where Meibel's value proposition lands hardest Collaborate with Leadership to refine positioning, ICP definition, and sales process as we scale. Maintain rigorous pipeline hygiene and forecasting discipline in HubSpot What 'Re Looking For 2-4+ years in a quota‑carrying B2B SaaS sales role, ideally selling technical products to engineering or technical leadership Solid understanding of technology fundamentals and foundational AI concepts (you can hold a conversation about RAG, LLMs, and production deployment challenges) Demonstrated ability to generate pipeline through outbound, events, and partnerships, not just work inbound Track record of running full sales cycles and closing deals, not handing off to closers Strong discovery skills: you diagnose before you prescribe, and you're comfortable challenging assumptions Comfort operating in ambiguity: you'll help define the playbook, not just execute one Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to adapt tone across technical and executive audiences Willingness to travel to trade shows, conferences, and customer events (approximately 5-7 times per year and as needed) Bonus Points For Technical background (engineering degree, former SE/SA, or hands‑on experience building software) Experience at seed to Series A stage startups where you helped build the sales motion Familiarity with selling into AI/ML, data infrastructure, or developer tools markets Existing relationships with VPs of Engineering, CTOs, or AI/ML leaders in target verticals (construction, financial services, pharma, government) Why Join Meibel?
