For more information, visit us at Job DescriptionCornerstone Building Brands is looking to hire a highly motivated sales professional for the position of District Sales Manager in the California Market. This teammate will report to the Regional Manager and will be responsible for the profitable growth and market development of the territory. This role supports the components division including MBCI and Metal Sales Brands. Positioned within MBCI’s Commercial Roof & Wall segment, with direct sales to sub-contractors, general contractors & roofing contractorsDevelops and implements market plans that include customer analysis, competitive insights, growth opportunities, and revenue goalsComprehensive understanding of all products and systems offered by Cornerstone Building Brands in the marketDemonstrates a complete understanding of key customer’s business and the critical measures that drive each accountWorks effectively and collaboratively with all Cornerstone Building Brands internal departments to ensure customer experience is optimized and efficientAbility to work with Operating SystemsQualificationsExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and maintain positive relationships with all CBB associates, customers, subsidiaries, agents and sales forceMust be flexible to maximize business opportunities as they ariseMust possess a minimum of 8 years of proven sales/marketing and/or sales management experienceExperience in commercial construction and/or building materials Pre-engineered metal buildings experience is preferred Ability to analyze market conditions and competition and develop strategic responses to opportunitiesStrong understanding of Marketing, Finance, and OperationsAbility to work independently and in a team environment is essentialMust be able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneouslyAbility to travel 50% - 60% of the time (2-3 overnights a week)COMPETENCIESBusiness AcumenCommand Skills/LeadershipOrganizational AgilityTeam BuildingWritten CommunicationDealing with AmbiguityDecision QualityInformingAdditional InformationThe US base salary range for this full-time position is $85,000 - $95,000 + bonus + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
