Educator for AI Training and Evaluation

Role Overview

Help shape how advanced AI systems are evaluated by applying your teaching judgment, subject expertise, and understanding of where learners commonly struggle. This is an ongoing talent-pool listing for education and training specialists, not a currently assigned project.

Key Responsibilities

• Create teaching problems based on your own classroom or course experience, including learner level, common misconceptions, constraints, and a reference answer used to assess model responses.
• Evaluate AI-generated explanations and lesson materials for learner fit, accuracy of worked examples, and whether assessments measure the intended learning objective.
• Identify explanations that may be factually accurate but still confuse students because of prior knowledge, reading level, or unaddressed misconceptions.

Qualifications

• Professional experience teaching, tutoring, or designing instruction.
• Clear written communication and the ability to explain your reasoning.
• Comfort working through ambiguous tasks and raising unclear instructions.
• Experience may come from K-12 teaching, higher education, academia, tutoring, test preparation, curriculum or instructional design, ESL or language instruction, or education technology.
• Your training background is less important than firsthand experience teaching the material and recognizing where learners get stuck.

Work Terms

• Remote, hourly engagement.
• Projects can begin on short notice and are assigned when a project needs your subject expertise or learner-level experience.
• A project-specific invitation will identify the rate, hours, and client; hiring decisions are made for that specific project.

Compensation

$30 to $85 per hour.
