Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide high-quality, critical care nursing to patients in the Intensive Care Unit, ensuring immediate and ongoing assessment, intervention, and support for patients with complex, high-risk conditions. Utilize advanced clinical skills and knowledge to deliver comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions continuously, identifying changes requiring immediate attention.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and interventions.
• Monitor vital signs and laboratory results to inform clinical decisions.
• Educate patients and families on care needs, procedures, and expected outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold an unencumbered Oregon RN license.
• Maintain Healthcare Provider Level AHA BLS certification.
• Possess ACLS and NIHSS certifications.
• Preferred: PALS and TNCC certifications.
• Prior ICU experience highly recommended.
