We're a growing fractional HR and people-operations firm working with founders and leadership teams across all kinds of industries. We need a sharp, organized, creative HR generalist to own delivery behind the scenes, building the frameworks, training, and presentations our clients rely on, so our client-facing leads can stay focused on strategy and relationships.

This starts as a near-full-time contract role with the very real intention of becoming our first full-time hire in the next year or two. If you're looking for somewhere to land and grow, not just another gig, keep reading.

You might be our person if

• You're a genuinely good HR generalist who knows the full employee lifecycle: compliance basics, comp, performance, onboarding, policy, all of it.
• You think like an operator. You've worked in or around EOS (the Entrepreneurial Operating System), and you get that HR isn't paperwork, it's how you build the right seats, get the right people in them, and grow a business on purpose.
• You run your own work like a pro. You track what you owe, you hit your deadlines, and nobody ever has to chase you.
• You're seriously tech-savvy and fluent with AI. You use AI to work smarter and faster, and you know the difference between a sharp AI-assisted draft and raw output that isn't ready to ship.
• You build training and presentations that make people go whoa. You've got real design sense.
• You're creative and resourceful. You don't just fill in the template, you find the smarter way.
• You finish things. Hand you a half-formed idea and you run it to done. You flag what you're unsure of, but you never hand back something half-baked.
• You've got taste. You know client-ready from good-enough-for-now.
• You're coachable but not needy. You want a mentor, you grow fast from feedback, and you can still fly solo.

The setup

• Near-full-time to start (roughly 40 hours a week), with the goal of converting to our first full-time role in the next year or two.
• Mostly remote, Austin-based strongly preferred.
• Paid hourly to start at a competitive rate based on experience, with a clear path upward.
• Real mentorship from a senior fractional people leader who builds systems that scale.
