As a Nuclear Medicine Tech, you will play a vital role in making communities healthier. How You’ll Contribute Administers radiopharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures. Processes data and enhances digital images using advanced computer technology. Provides images, data analysis and patient information for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic procedures. Evaluates images to determine the technical quality and calibration of instrumentation. Processes the images for radiologist review. Health & Fitness Center Access : What We’re Looking For Applicants should have an Associate’s Degree, be a graduate of an approved course in Nuclear Medicine Technology, and have at least one year of experience in Nuclear Medicine with a Nuclear Medicine registration. Additional requirements: Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist by NMTCB if not grandfathered by the state. Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire. Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
