Quality EngineerClarios in Yuma, Arizona, United StatesFull timeWD49915What You Will Do+ Design, develop, and implement quality tests and statistical process control procedures to achieve manufacturing quality specifications.+ Conduct annual plant quality audits across manufacturing facilities.+ Lead investigations and resolution of customer quality concerns and complaints.+ Serve as a project leader for cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.+ Partner with manufacturing plants and cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and product quality.+ Support new product and process development activities while ensuring APQP requirements are met.How You Will Do It+ Perform statistical analyses including capability studies, regression analysis, T-tests, F-tests, and control chart evaluations.+ Facilitate and drive Kepner-Tregoe (K-T) problem-solving methodologies throughout manufacturing operations.+ Lead cross-functional teams in developing and maintaining Control Plans, FMEAs, and Level 3 quality documentation.+ Ensure compliance with ISO /TS quality standards and internal quality system requirements.+ Utilize data analysis and reporting tools to provide database support and quality insights to internal and external stakeholders.+ Collaborate with engineering, operations, and quality teams to improve processes and drive operational excellence.What We Look ForRequired+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.+ 1-2 years of Quality Engineering experience demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.+ Working knowledge of ISO /TS Quality Standards and Statistical Process Control ( SPC ).+ ASQ Certified Quality Engineer ( CQE ) certification or equivalent Quality Engineering experience.+ Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning ( APQP ) requirements.+ Strong statistical analysis skills and experience with quality improvement methodologies.Preferred+ Bilingual in Spanish and English.+ Lean Manufacturing experience.+ Experience leading cross-functional teams and continuous improvement projects.+ Experience with Control Plans, FMEAs, and quality documentation systems.Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
