Job Requirements

• Board Certified in General Cardiology
• Active Ohio medical license required
• BLS certification required
• At least 1 year of cardiology experience required
• Experience interpreting cardiac testing, including echocardiograms, nuclear stress tests, EKGs, TEE, loop recorders, tilt tables, event monitors, and related studies
• Experience managing ICDs and pacemakers
• Comfortable with outpatient clinic visits and inpatient cardiology consults
• Proficiency with Epic EMR preferred
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide non-invasive cardiology coverage for outpatient and inpatient settings
• Interpret diagnostic cardiac studies and provide timely clinical recommendations
• See approximately 16-20 clinic patients per day and 2-3 hospital consults per day
• Participate in after-hours call coverage as scheduled
• Support coordination of care for adult cardiology patients
• Manage and evaluate cardiac devices, including pacemakers and ICDs
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers and the broader healthcare team
• Document encounters and findings accurately in the EMR
