Occupational Therapist-PRN

Job Summary and Responsibilities Reid Home Health is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapist to provide skilled therapy services at home across the Posey, Vanderburgh, Warrick, Spencer, Gibson, Pike, Daviess, Dubois, and Knox counties. Competitive pay per visit, mileage reimbursement at 0.585 cents per mile, and flexible scheduling are offered. As an Occupational Therapist, you will evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities, set goals, and develop individualized treatment plans to improve independence and quality of life while preventing health‑related complications. Responsibilities Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and psychosocial abilities to determine therapy needs. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that may include exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive devices. Teach patients and family members about home safety, equipment use, and strategies to manage daily activities. Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress, treatment plans, and modifications to meet compliance and regulatory standards. Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, using outcome‑based measures to evaluate effectiveness. Collaborate and communicate changes in patient condition with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other home‑health team members. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program approved by the American Occupational Therapy Association. Active, registered OT license in the state where you practice. Current CPR/BLS Certification. Minimum one year of occupational therapy experience in a clinical setting. Valid driver’s license. Compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
