Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery (RN)

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for our Labor and Delivery unit. This is a seasonal contract position that offers a challenging yet rewarding environment for experienced nursing professionals.

Unit Information

• Location: City, State
• Unit Type: Level 4 designated maternal center
• Number of Beds: 22 beds (16 labor beds)
• Staffing: Approximately 100 staff members, including RNs and support staff
• Patient Ratios: 1:2, 1:1
• Type of Equipment: EMR - CPN and Meditech

Shift Information

• Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Weekends: 4 weekend shifts per schedule
• On-Call Requirements: No on-call required

General Responsibilities

• Vaginal and Cesarean section deliveries
• Tubal ligations
• Cerclage placement and removal
• D&C
• C-hyst and PASD cases

Qualifications

• Must Have: Experience with high-risk maternal patients, Circulating operating room and triage experience
• Preferred: Greater than 5 years of nursing experience

Dress Code

Scrub color is navy blue. Please adhere to the unit guidelines and policies.
