Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg/Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 3 years License: NC or Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, Stroke Certification Must-Have: - Minimum of 3 years of experience - Required skills include: - Accessing/Managing Ports - Bariatric surgery - BiPAP/CPAP management - Blood Product Administration - Bowel obstruction management - Central line blood draw - Chest tubes - Colostomy/Ileostomy management - Continuous Bladder Irrigation - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases - Management of dysrhythmias - Oral suctioning - Oxygen administration - Peripheral Line Care/Management - PICC line management - Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management - Renal failure management - Starting and maintaining IVs - Wound Care/Wound Vac Description: This position is for a Med/Surg/Tele Registered Nurse. The nurse will provide care for adult and geriatric patients. Patient ratios will be 1:6 on the unit during night shifts. The unit specializes in a variety of patient diagnoses, including acute kidney injuries, pneumonia, and post-operative care. Interdisciplinary support services are available, including physical therapy and respiratory services. This role may involve patient care management in various settings, including telemetry monitoring. Applicants must have relevant skills and certifications as outlined.
