Work Environment\n

You will work remotely from the comfort of your own home while still being an integral part of our outpatient office team in Babylon. This flexible work setting allows for a work-life balance, offering you the opportunity to manage your schedule while effectively supporting our clients. Full-time staff can expect to work between 30 to 40 hours per week, with adjustments available to accommodate personal needs.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that address individual client needs, including pre-crisis and crisis management strategies.

  • Ensure timely completion of all necessary documentation and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Utilize evidence-based screening tools and methodologies as guided by the clinical team, ensuring the highest standard of care is delivered.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support and intervention plans.
  • \n
  • Actively participate in the agency’s licensing and accreditation processes to uphold quality service delivery.
  • \n
  • Serve as a liaison with state agencies, community partners, and other service systems, facilitating effective communication and resource sharing.

  • Maintain productive relationships with local, state, federal, and private organizations to identify new community partnerships and funding opportunities.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development practices, attending conferences and workshops related to mental health counseling.

  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the Clinic Director, contributing to the overall clinical objectives of the organization.

Your role will involve working with a diverse range of clients seeking mental health support, including individuals facing emotional distress, those recovering from substance use problems, and clients managing developmental challenges. Our focus is to deliver personalized care that enhances each client's quality of life and supports their journey toward recovery and independence.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field is required.

  • A valid, independent LMHC License issued by the state board.
