Senior Producer & Videographer

Senior Producer & Videographer Overit is looking for a Senior Video Producer to help lead, produce, shoot, and edit video and motion work for our clients and agency. You must be on-site in Albany, NY 3 days per week. This is a senior hands‑on role for someone who can move comfortably from big‑picture concepting to boots‑on‑the‑ground production. We need someone who can develop creative ideas, storyboard a visual approach, shoot with confidence, direct talent and clients, edit with purpose, manage production details, and help Overit continue to grow video as a core part of our creative offering. Our work ranges from high‑end, film‑quality TV spots to authentic, in‑the‑moment social video — and our video producer must be comfortable moving between these realms. The right person is a strong visual storyteller, skilled producer, confident shooter, capable editor, thoughtful collaborator, and professional client‑facing presence. What You’ll Do As Senior Video Producer, you will help plan and produce video, motion, podcast, social, campaign, brand, and client storytelling projects from concept through delivery. You’ll work closely with Overit’s creative, design, account, project management, strategy, and leadership teams to make sure video work is smart, polished, on‑brand, on‑budget, and aligned with client goals. You will be expected to own the production details, keep projects moving, communicate clearly, and bring creative solutions to the table. Core Responsibilities Creative Concepting Develop ideas, scripts when needed, storyboards, shot lists, animatics, production approaches, and content recommendations that bring client stories to life in fresh and effective ways. Video Production Plan, produce, shoot, and direct video projects, including interviews, campaign content, social videos, brand stories, webinar and podcast shoots, motion‑driven pieces, internal agency content, and client work. Cinematography Bring a strong understanding of cameras, lighting, audio, composition, directing, and production setup to every shoot. Editing & Post‑Production Edit video content with a clear eye for story, pacing, polish, and platform. Collaborate on or support motion graphics, animation, sound, and finishing as needed. Client‑Facing Collaboration Participate in client meetings to discuss project goals, creative concepts, production needs, asset requirements, timelines, and final deliverables. Represent Overit with professionalism and confidence. Project & Production Management Help estimate video projects, identify production needs, coordinate timelines, manage shoot logistics, communicate with internal teams, and keep production moving efficiently. Vendor & Freelancer Coordination Source, coordinate, and manage outside crew, talent, editors, animators, audio engineers, or production partners when needed. Motion & Design Collaboration Work with Overit’s design team on motion design‑related projects, including animated social content, campaign assets, explainer videos, and other visual storytelling needs. Technology & Tools Stay current with production tools, editing platforms, motion software, podcast technology, AI‑assisted workflows, and emerging content formats that can help us work smarter and create stronger work. You bring strong creative judgment to the edit. You communicate proactively so projects do not stall. You help clients feel confident in the process. You support the creative team with smart video thinking. You help Overit grow its video and motion capabilities without needing to be formally responsible for the entire department. You advocate for the Overit brand and the quality of the work. Work Environment This is a hybrid position based in Albany, NY , with an expectation of being in the office a minimum of three days per week .
