Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A pharmacy leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee operations at a retail pharmacy location in Ogdensburg, NY. This role offers flexibility with options for an interim assignment of 3-6 months or a permanent position, providing a chance to lead a well-established pharmacy team.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Closed Sundays

Key Responsibilities:

• Register as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge with the state board of pharmacy.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company pharmacy regulations and policies.
• Manage pharmacy operations to meet financial goals, including budgeting, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory control.
• Lead and develop pharmacy support staff through training, performance reviews, and accountability.
• Participate in community outreach and business development initiatives.
• Provide patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs.
• Counsel patients and healthcare providers on medication uses, side effects, and drug interactions.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment meeting legal and company standards.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement efforts and complete required continuing education.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid New York State pharmacist license.
• Immunization certification with comfort administering all vaccines.
• Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to manage both staff and patient relations.
