The individual will assist in scheduling, communication, data entry, and coordination between clinical and research teams to ensure smooth and efficient patient recruitment from the **surgery, gastroenterology, and oncology clinics**.**SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY:**N/A**NATURE AND SCOPE:**This position is critical for maintaining accurate records, facilitating communication between departments, and ensuring compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:*** Coordinate and schedule patient recruitment activities between the clinical and research teams.* Communicate with patients to confirm appointments and provide study-related information as directed by the research nurse or coordinator.* Maintain logs of enrolled and pending patients; track recruitment metrics and report progress to the PI.* Assist with preparation, routing, and filing of IRB forms, consent documents, and other regulatory materials.* Support data entry and maintenance of patient information in databases (e.g., Excel, REDCap, Workday).* Manage correspondence, including email, phone, and document distribution related to the study.* Process reimbursements, invoices, and travel arrangements for research activities when needed.* Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems for study documentation.**CORE COMPETENCIES:*** Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management systems.* Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.* Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:**Minimum of 1–2 years of administrative or research coordination experience, preferably in a healthcare or academic research setting.
